# PayTransparency > PayTransparency checks job postings against every US pay-transparency law (states and cities, plus the EU directive) and reports what's missing: the pay range, benefits, or other required disclosures, with the statutory fine exposure. Agents can look up the laws for free, and sign up, check postings and pay with no human in the loop. ## Connect - MCP server (Streamable HTTP): https://www.paytransparency.app/mcp. The law tools and `signup` need no key; reconnect with `Authorization: Bearer ` for the rest. - REST API: https://www.paytransparency.app/api/v1. OpenAPI at https://www.paytransparency.app/openapi.json - Guide: https://www.paytransparency.app/docs/agents ## Flow 1. Free: GET /api/v1/laws-for-employer?employee_count=120&states=CA,NY tells you which laws apply. 2. POST /api/v1/signup {email, company_name?, employee_count?} returns api_key and a 14-day trial. The person at email gets a link to claim the account. 3. POST /api/v1/check {text or url, states?} for each posting. report.overallCompliant says whether it passes; report.stateResults says what each law needs. 4. Fix what it flags and check again. ## Pricing and payment One plan: $99 per 30 days, unlimited checks (120 an hour per key), 14-day free trial with no card. GET /api/v1/billing lists the ways to pay that are on: - Machine Payments Protocol: POST /api/v1/companies/{company_id}/pay answers 402; pay with any MPP client. Each payment adds 30 days. - A Stripe Checkout link for a person: POST /api/v1/billing/checkout ($99/month subscription). ## Endpoints - GET /api/v1/laws: Every pay-transparency law in the catalog, or one jurisdiction with ?state=CA.
